Fresh Ideation Food Group has recalled more than 400 ready-to-eat food products from retailers across multiple states as the products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

The recall was posted to the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) website on Feb. 3.

It applies to 407 different product types—including sandwiches, hoagies, salads, parfaits and muffins—made under different brand names including Quick & Fresh, Bistro to Go and Westin Label and many more. Click here for the full list of recalled products.

All recalled products have a Fresh Creative Cuisine label or identifier on the bottom of the label, with the Fresh Creative Cuisine name, and a fresh through or sell through date ranging from Jan. 31, 2023 through Feb. 6, 2023.

The recall was initiated after the company’s environmental samples tested positive for Listeria monocytogenes, the notice states.

No illnesses have been reported to date, the company said. It is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes end in class action lawsuits.

Recalled products distributed across multiple states

The recalled snack products were distributed in Connecticut, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia, the recall states. They were sold in retail locations, vending machines, and on transportation providers.

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems, the FDA says.

Consumers who have purchased the products are urged to contact the company, Fresh Ideation Food Group LLC, at 855-969-3338, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm EST.

Last year, Alpha Foods voluntarily recalled its Meatless Breakfast Sandwiches and Burritos due to traces of undeclared milk, which may pose a health risk for those with milk allergies.
