Recall initiated for Magnum XXL 9800 capsules sold on Amazon due to undeclared sildenafil

Meta Herbal is recalling 500 blister packs of its Magnum XXL 9800 male enhancement because the capsules include undeclared sildenafil.

Sildenafil is a Phosphodiesterase Inhibitor (PDE-5) used to treat male erectile dysfunction, the Magnum XXL 9800 recall says.

The sildenafil male enhancement recall includes all blister packs of the supplement. The pills were only sold online on Amazon and have a UPC of 6 45759 99300 7 and expiration date of 1/2025.

Slidenafil can interact with nitrates in prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and lead to a significant drop in blood pressure that may be life threatening, the male enhancement pill recall says.

The adult male population that uses nitrates has the most risk of adverse effects from the capsults. Those with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease often take nitrates, the recall says.

Stop using male enhancement pills immediately and request refund, Meta Herbal recall says

Meta Herbal says it has not received any reports of adverse effects related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

Meta Herbal is contacting those who have purchased the product directly through Amazon. Those who have the blister packs and capsules should immediately stop using the male enhancement pills and contact Meta Herbal for a return and refund.
