Volt Candy PrimeZen Black 6000 erectile dysfunction pill recall overview:

  • Who: Volt Candy recalled one lot of PrimeZen Black 6000 erectile dysfunction capsules.
  • Why: The capsules are tainted with drugs that can cause a significant drop in blood pressure.
  • Where: The Volt Candy PrimeZen Black 6000 recall is active in the United States.

Volt Candy has issued a recall of one lot of PrimeZen Black 6000 erectile dysfunction pills, as they are tainted with drugs that can cause life-threatening drops in blood pressure.

The U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) website published the recall Feb. 13. It applies to one lot of PrimeZen Black 6000 with UPC code 728175521891 and an expiration date of Aug. 16, 2025.

The company initiated the recall after an FDA analysis found some of the capsules were tainted with sildenafil and tadalafil.

“Sildenafil and tadalafil are phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) inhibitors found in FDA-approved products for the treatment of male erectile dysfunction,” the erectile dysfunction pill recall states.

It also says the drugs may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs, such as nitroglycerin, and “may cause a significant drop in blood pressure that may be life threatening.”

Volt Candy has not received any reports so far of adverse events or injuries related to the recalled product, it says. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

Volt Candy capsuled were distributed nationwide, erectile dysfunction pill recall states

Volt Candy distributed the recalled pills to consumers online at the website voltcandy.com, the recall states.

Men who use nitrates for cardiac conditions are most at risk from the products, the company says. People with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease often take nitrates, the FDA said.

Volt Candy notified its online customers by email and arranged for the return of all recalled products. People should stop using the product and return it, the Volt Candy recall states.

In related news, about a year ago, a slate of male sexual enhancement pill producers recalled pills sold on Amazon after they were found to contain tadalafil.
