Braga Fresh says it has not received any reports of illness related to the recall. The company is not facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.
The undeclared egg could affect those who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to egg and lead to a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction, the recall says. Consumers should discard the salad and can receive a full refund with a Wegmans receipt.
Consumers can reach Wegmans Food Markets at 855-934-3663 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET Monday to Friday or 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Saturday and Sunday.
Braga Fresh also conducted a recall on one batch of 365 by Whole Foods Market Organic Asian Inspired Chopped Salad Kit in July as the product contained undeclared milk and egg.
