  • Who: Trader Joe’s issued a recall for its Trader Joe’s Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds. 
  • Why: The packages may contain metal.
  • Where: The crackers were distributed in the United States.

Trader Joe’s issued a recall for its Trader Joe’s Multigrain Crackers with Sunflower and Flax Seeds as they may contain metal.

The Trader Joe’s recall applies to the 10-ounce boxes of Trader Joe’s crackers marked with SKU 76156 and a best-by date between March 1 and March 3, 2024.

Trader Joe’s says its supplier notified it of the potential metal contamination. The retailer removed all of the potentially impacted crackers from its stores, the recall notice states.

Trader Joe’s crackers should not be eaten, recall states

Trader Joe’s says it has not received any reports of injury related to the recall. The company is not facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.

Consumers who have the product should discard it or return it to the store for a full refund, the crackers recall states.

Customers can contact Trader Joe’s customer relations at (626) 599-3817 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT Monday through Friday with further questions. They can also reach Trader Joe’s via email by filling out the online product feedback form

Trader Joe’s recalled several products lately, including a scented candle and a trio of food products.
