ragdoll & rockets kid pajamasThe United States Consumer Product Safety Commission reports that Ragdoll & Rockets is recalling its children’s loungewear, over a violation of flammability standards.

Customers who bought the affected loungewear are eligible for a refund for their purchase.

Ragdoll & Rockets is recalling five styles of loungewear made for children, over concerns that the clothing does not adhere to flammability standards and could therefore put children at risk for injury. Happily, no injuries have been reported.

The recall was instituted on Sep. 10, 2019, and affects around 14,100 units of the pajamas.

The affected loungewear is made of 100 percent micro polyester fleece sleepwear, and was sold in sizes 2 through 6 and small through extra large.

The pajamas were available in a number of different styles and prints. Styles for children included a footed onesie with a hood, and sets involving shorts or pants paired with a shirt. A baby onesie is also included in the recall.

The recalled loungewear included production codes L47/1705, LPJ/1806 or L47/1710 printed on the care label inside of the garment.

The CPSC reports that the clothing was sold in 16 prints: Big Stars, Elephant, Ghost Glow, Happy Feet, Hello Bunny, Kitty, Love Paws, Lush Dots, Moon and Stars, Owl, Panda, Pineapple, Polar Bear, Rainbow Glow, Snowman and Winter Deer.

The loungewear was sold online through Ragdoll & Rockets’ website, www.RagdollandRockets.com and at boutiques around the country between May 2018 and May 2019 for between $16 and $28.

The loungewear was distributed by Genexus d/b/a Ragdoll & Rockets of Gardena, Calif., and was manufactured in China.

No incidents or injuries have been reported in connection with the Ragdoll & Rockets children’s loungewear.

The CPSC instructs customers to immediately stop using the recalled loungewear, and to take it away from their children. Customers can contact Ragdoll to receive a refund.

For information on how they can receive a refund for their purchase of recalled loungewear, customers can contact Ragdoll & Rockets toll-free at 888-669-9313 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Pacific Time Monday through Friday.

Customers can also contact the company by email at recall2775@genexus.us, using “Product Recall” as their email subject. Customers can also find information on the recall at www.ragdollandrockets.com, and click on the “Product Recall” tab at the bottom of the web page.

The recall number for the Ragdoll & Rockets recall is 19-204. The CPSC invites customers to report an incident involving the product on the CPSC website.

The Ragdoll & Rockets recall is not the only recall of children’s clothing in recent months. H&M recently recalled two sets of kids’ pajamas over similar concerns that the product did not meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear.
