Read on to see if the recalls affect you.
Ryan and Rose Children’s Utensils Recall
A range of children’s eating utensils are being recalled by Ryan and Rose due to a potential choking hazard. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (USCPSC), Ryan and Rose have received three reports of the Cutie Spoovel utensil handle breaking when a child bit down on it.
No injuries or reports of choking have been reported, the company said. About 17,750 of the utensils were sold in the United States and 110 in Canada.
“Consumers should immediately take the recalled utensils away from children, dispose of them, and contact Ryan and Rose to receive a full refund or a $20 shop credit,” the recall says.
Wee Gallery Kids Puzzles Recall
Wee Gallery is recalling its Ocean and Safari animal wooden tray puzzles as the puzzle pieces can break and create a choking hazard, the USCPSC says
About 7,600 of the puzzles were sold in the United states, and about 550 in Canada. The company has received six reports of puzzle pieces breaking, it said, and no injuries have been reported so far.
“Consumers should immediately take the recalled puzzles away from children and contact Wee Gallery for a refund in the form of a $35 gift certificate for the purchase of any Wee Gallery product,” the USCPSC says.
PetSmart Pet Bowls Recall
PetSmart is recalling about 100,300 of its Top Paw® Double Diner Dog Bowls as the gasket on the bottom of the dog bowls can come off, leaving an unfinished edge, posing a risk of laceration.
PetSmart says it has already received three reports of cuts and scratches to consumers’ hands as a result of handling the unfinished edge on the bowls.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dog bowls and return them to any PetSmart store for a full refund,” the recall says.
Razor USA Scooters and Hoverboards Recall
Razor USA is recalling more than 237,000 Hovertrax 2.0 Self-Balancing Scooters/Hoverboards with GLW Battery Packs as the battery packs can overheat, posing a risk of the products smoking, catching fire or exploding.
So far, there have been more than 20 reports of Hovertrax 2.0 Self-Balancing Hoverboards containing GLW battery packs overheating, including some reports of smoke or fire, the USCPSC says. No injuries have been reported so far.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Razor for instructions on how to obtain a prepaid shipping carton to send the battery pack back to Razor and receive a free replacement.
SKE Outdoors Kids Bike Helmets Recall
SKE Outdoors is recalling about 860 of its TurboSke Kids Toddler Bike Helmets.
The bicycle helmets do not comply with the USCPSC federal safety standard for bicycle helmets, posing a risk of head injury, the recall says. No injuries have been reported.
“Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled kids bike helmets and return them free of charge to SKE Outdoors for a full refund or free replacement helmet.”
