Chrysler issued a recall for more than 200,000 Dodge Durango and Ram vehicles over concerns they contain a defective ABS control module that could cause their electronic stability control system to become disabled.

The Durango and Ram recall involves certain model year 2022 Dodge Durango SUVs, Ram 2500 pickup trucks and Ram 3500 Cab Chassis vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of less than 10,000 lbs.

Chrysler said the defect causes the recalled Durango and Ram vehicles to fail to comply with federal motor safety standards and increases the risk of an accident.
