wish-com

Consumers who were duped by Wish.com pricing that listed a fake “original” or “regular” price and corresponding discount can claim a cash award under a recent settlement agreement.

Wish.com sells a number of retail items through its website. Consumers who purchased an item through Wish.com between June 16, 2013 and Dec. 12, 2017 can receive up to $20 cash. According to settlement documents, there are nearly 22 million consumers who qualify as Class Members, making the potential value of this settlement more than $100 million.

The settlement resolves a class action lawsuit that alleged Wish.com tricked consumers into thinking they were getting a deal on items sold through its website. Lead plaintiffs Sherhonda Golden and Denise Valencia, said they they and other consumers fell for the alleged false advertising and paid more for items they purchased on Wish.com than they would have otherwise.

The Wish.com class action lawsuit alleged that by including a false “original” or “regular” price along with a supposed discount, Wish.com violated Missouri and California consumer protection laws and were also unjustly enriched.

Wish.com does not admit any liability under the terms of the class action lawsuit, but will pay between $3 and $20 to consumers who submit a claim. Class Members who can provide proof of purchase can receive up to $20, while those who do not have proof can claim $3.

Class Members can object to the settlement or exclude themselves by submitting a written request by March 2, 2018.

Who’s Eligible

Class Members include those in the United States who purchased products from Wish.com at a discount off the stated “original” or “regular” price between June 16, 2013 and Dec. 12, 2017, and who have not received a refund or credit for their purchases.

Potential Award

$3 – $20 depending on proof.

Proof of Purchase

Class Members who provide proof that the products they purchased were advertised for sale by another retailer within 90 days of the date of their purchases, using lower reference prices than advertised on Wish.com can receive up to 25 percent of the difference between the advertised reference price on Wish.com and the other retailer’s price up to a maximum of $20 per household.

Class Members who do not provide proof of purchase will receive $3.

Why we cannot sue the CEO USA of wish for the following
1.,lodging fraudulent appeals buyers are making false refunds.
2..photos not the same as what items you receive
3.,24 attempts over weeks to get a refund..then they pay and lodge an appeal you must justify..not them
4..items from China poor quality, not for purpose, not quality controlled
5..support staff using few text words to lodge complaints, no communication aspects available.save wages
6.ceo getting over 1 billion us dollars 2018 alone by cheating buyers on cheap quality none useable products
      7..Refusing refunds on legitimate cases,
8..have the owner of wish buy a car dent remover then have him admit it removes nothing only dust particles on the car
Goes on and on and on..see the realms of negative issues, feedback
9..Is the ceo paying the correct tax.one house he owns 15 muiion us

  4. Donaldson Woody says:

i understand the scam that is wish. They send you stuff or they don’t but if you want a refund then they don’t refund the shipping . I was charged $12 shipping on what was supposed to be a lap top. I was sent a dollar trinket instead and although they refunded my purchase price they kept the $12 shipping for an item that cost maybe fifty cents and less for shipping.

That is a $10 rip off!

  5. Ruth Hickox says:

I ordered a $19.00 safe plus Shipping & Handling. Item was returned, and I received a Refund. The problem is, it cost me more to return the product than it costs.
This company is nothing but a RIP-OFF!!!! Makes you wonder how they are still in business with all the Class Action law suits that have been filed against this company

  6. Jeremy Atwell says:

I bought a 7 in screen radio for my car it was supposed to come with a back up camera well it never came in I’ve been waiting for 3 months almost for and I still haven’t got it also I bought a washer and dryer that was supposed to dry the clothes to not only will it not dry the clothes but it had a hole in the tank so how was I supposed to wash or dry my clothes and when I send wish the email it tells me my account is on hold that I can talk to a person I have to talk to a computer I think this wrong in more was then 1 cuz I spend a lot of money on wish and I think they are just out to RIP people off

  7. Dacia A Russell says:

Another class action needs to be filed against these people. Ordered approx 13 items 11/2018 and paid for shipping & etc. Only received 4 of the items – late. After months was only given 4 refunds on remaining 7 items not delivered. Refuses to refund the rest of my monies quoting “my account has been flagged for excessive refunds” tho their own records show I have not received the items. Bunch of crooks!

  8. Marilyn Mason says:

    Hi
I’m so happy you guys finally doing something with that company. I guess I was lucky they returned all all my money. And I stop ordering because of their shipping fees. This is why I’m emailing. I believe people are being ripped off with their shipping fee. They charge you for each item even if three items is coming from the same store. Sometimes your shipping cost is more than the items. This is just a fyi
    Thanks

  9. Panishad says:

Hello I ordered a wig and a pair of sneakers on wish application over a period of 10 days and I paid for both of them; shipping address was our current house and I have bought different things from wish before asked for a delivery to this same home address but none of my orders have arrived since now, so I reported the problem on the application (client service) and they refunded the money I had paid for the wig but after a while that I referred to wish app again for reporting the delivery delay of my sneakers the robot banned me from sending messages because of too many refund claims !!!
I wrote more than 10 messages to them and asked them to follow the case , or asked them if the delivery company has delivered and has given my order to housekeeper or anyone else, they send me back any receipt or some tickets, factors or documents that prove the delivery has been done at my address; but up to now no one has answered or has solved my problems.
Could you please help me if you have any information in this field?

  10. Sylvia Ortiz says:

I currently am going through a refund dispute with wish.
They did I would recieve my refund within 14 days of claim and it’s been well over that. They owe me $40.80 on my refund. Can something be done?
