UPDATE:

- Congratulations to everyone who filed a claim and got paid!
BMW, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru and Toyota agreed to an air bag class action lawsuit settlement resolving claims related to a defect in Takata auto air bags.
These air bag class action settlements will resolve allegations the car companies manufactured, distributed or sold vehicles that contain Takata air bags with allegedly defective deflators that, when deployed, could cause the airbag to rupture and expel debris or shrapnel into the vehicle. The plaintiffs allege they sustained economic losses as a result of the defective Takata air bags.
Takata has reportedly reached a settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice that would require the air bag maker to pay up to $1 billion in penalties over allegations of criminal wrongdoing.
The car companies have recalled millions of vehicles that contained the allegedly defective Takata air bags. The Takata air bags are allegedly to blame for at least 10 deaths and more than 100 injuries worldwide.
The defendants deny any wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement in the Takata air bag class action lawsuits to avoid the burden, risk and expense of ongoing litigation.
If you would like to opt out of the BMW, Mazda, Subaru or Toyota auto air bags class action settlements, you must do so no later than Sept. 25, 2017.
Information about the Nissan auto air bags class action settlement has not yet been posted, but the Takata class action lawsuit settlement website will be updated when the information becomes available.

We got a letter from Mercedes Benz that we were affected but
I don’t see Mercedes name on the list. Are there any plans
to have Mercedes owners be part of a class action.
i have a 2001 toytoa rav 4 what about us
Mercedes uses the same airbags
I have a 2004 Honda Civic. The drive side air bag was replaced. However, NOT passenger airbag. Honda dealer said it did not have a recall bag on that side. I had to take my car and drop it off and my husband followed me. We had to cancel appointments and were left with one vehicle plus driving back and forth because it was not ready at the schedule time. But I don’t see HONDA on class action. Why? Should or can I start my owen class action? Thank you
These faulty airbags have been in vehicles since before 2000. What about those? What about all of the people who suffered injuries from them?
What about dodge vehicles?
What about VW’S, I thot they were included also?
What about Ford Vehicles?
What about Honda vehicles?
Claim site for Subaru requires providence and postal code even though US is selected…. Faulty and not working.
