A class action settlement has been reached with MultiCare Health System to resolve allegations that the company violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by placing prerecorded calls (robocalls) to the cell phones of patients without their consent.
The alleged calls contained messages from an artificial voice that sought information from patients about their visit to the hospital, as well as potential sources of payment.
MultiCare denies the allegations set forth in the TCPA lawsuit and asserts that these phone calls were made with patient consent and were carried out lawfully by a company named Hunter Donaldson.
Under the terms of the settlement, both sides agreed to a compromise to end the lawsuit, and there was no establishment of fault. Both parties entered into the settlement to avoid the time, expense and risk of further litigation.

TCA ,WHAT’S THE STATUS ON THIS CASE?? IT WOULD BE APPRECIATED IF YOU SHARE WITH US, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
I see, thanks for the clarification Chris. Too may court documents to read, go blind after a while.
John, which settlement were you referring to in your post?
and the claim form deadline is not up yet…………
It received 487 claims deemed to be $2500.00. 3,041 notices were sent. You are not reading the court docs correctly my friend.
Court approved all 3,041 claims divided by the $2.5 million settlement = $822.09 per claim. Nice pay day coming soon hopefully.
Received check last week for $590 in Indiana
None as of yet
any updates?
