Keurig has agreed to pay $31 million to resolve claims it violated antitrust laws by fixing the price of its Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs products.
The settlement benefits individuals who purchased Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs from retailers other than Keurig between Sept. 7, 2010, and Aug. 14, 2020, in all states other than Mississippi and Rhode Island; between March 24, 2011, and Aug. 14, 2020, in Mississippi; or between July 15, 2013, and Aug. 14, 2020, in Rhode Island.
Claims against Keurig were consolidated in June 2014. According to the plaintiffs in the eight consolidated class action lawsuits, Keurig violated antitrust laws in order to monopolize the market for single-serve coffee pods. This monopoly allegedly allowed the company to artificially fix the price of Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs products — subjecting consumers to financial strain that wouldn’t exist in a healthy market.
In December 2017, these claims were preserved by a federal judge who denied the company’s motion for dismissal.
Keurig has not admitted any wrongdoing in the case but has agreed to a $31 million Keurig K-Cup Portion Packs class action settlement. The settlement provides reimbursement for Keurig K-Cup purchases in the form of cash payments. Reimbursement rates will vary from 0.75% to 100% depending on the state the purchase was made in and whether proof of purchase was submitted with a claim.
In order to benefit from the settlement, Class Members must file a valid claim form by July 15, 2021. Proof of purchase of Keurig K-Cup purchases and information about these purchases (number of K-Cups purchased, price paid, state where purchase took place, brand name, etc.) is required to validate claims.
The deadline for exclusion is May 14, 2021. The deadline for objection is May 17, 2021. The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for June 4, 2021.

Update and edited from Pacer Dated 6/3/2022 Case 1:14-md-02542-VSB-SLC Document 1843
IN RE KEURIG GREEN MOUNTAIN SINGLE-SERVE
COFFEE ANTITRUST LITIGATION.
CIVIL ACTION NO.: 14 MD 2542 (VSB) (SLC) ORDER
SARAH L. CAVE, United States Magistrate Judge.
Plaintiffs’ request (ECF No. 1839) for a telephone conference regarding their anticipated
motion for attorneys’ fees and expenses (the “Motion”) is DENIED.
The Court will set a briefing schedule for the Motion in due course, following the Honorable Vernon S. Broderick’s ruling on Keurig’s objections (ECF No. 1816 (the “Objections”)) to the Court’s April 11, 2022 Opinion and Order (ECF No. 1815) on the parties’ motions for sanctions.
If, in the meantime, Plaintiffs wish to pursue reimbursement of their vendor costs that
are not at issue in Keurig’s Objections (the “Vendor Costs”), the Court orders as follows:
1. By June 10, 2022, Plaintiffs shall provide Keurig with records evidencing the Vendor
Costs;
2. By June 24, 2022, the parties shall meet and confer to reach an agreement on the
Vendor Costs. If the parties cannot reach an agreement:
a. By July 5, 2022, Plaintiffs shall file a letter-motion of no longer than five (5)
pages, exclusive of exhibits, with sufficient supporting documentation to
permit the Court to analyze the requested Vendor Costs;
Case 1:14-md-02542-VSB-SLC Document 1843 Filed 06/03/22
is there further action we need to take or continue to wait for courts decision?
Vendors should not be aloud, this was a consumer class action law suit, they are not consumers they are price jackers!

This was the canned response I received on April 7, 2022 from my email inqiury.

I was told that the Attorneys were holding up any payments.
I called the law office in New YORK City but could only leave a message.
I left my phone number and request the status of when payment will be made but I never got any response so I will follow it up again om May 26, 2022.
These attorneys have a legal duty to the class members and I will tell him that I will have to file with the Court
THANKS FOR INFO ..YES NOW A YEAR ..
No further action is needed. We are all waiting until the court finishes its part and then set the distribution date.. Fingers crossed it will be soon!
just today I sent an Email to the Class Counsel as it has been one year on June 7, 2021 when the District Court approved the settlement and there is no information posted on the class action web page.
The class members have a right to know and show far there is nothing posted.
Rule 24 FRCP requires class counsel to kept the class informed.
Hopefully we will get some information
Thank you for the update. I hope we get an answer soon.
Any updates?? July 7 passed.
Nobody responds to my emails and I just called the main number to the claims administrator and informed the I will move the Court for a court order if necessary.
Thanks for keeping everyone up to date. An answer about payment from them would be nice.
Well I sent a third email to Class Counsel and told him that if I did not get a response I would request information from the Court as to the status of this case.
Will a got two replies one that they had to deal a larger purchaser and contest his large businesses making claims under the settlement which they are contesting.
They hope to have this resolved shortly
Thank you.
Thank you…any updates?

Not yet. The page says they allow time for appeals. But not sure what the timeline is for appeals.
Time for appeals long over
That’s what I was thinking so what’s the hold up
No and I have been wondering when we will get them since it’s been settled over 7 months ago
Still nothing. Took alot to come up with the records for this, hope it wasn’t for nothing.
Nope!
Has anyone rec’d a payment to date (12/22/2021)? I haven’t.
Not here either. Someone on the FB page said they called and were told “early 2022”.
Whatever that means.
Thank you for this information. I’m still waiting too. I submitted several receipts .
What a joke lol
