Hydroxycut products

A settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit alleging certain Hydroxycut products sold through May 1, 2009 were misrepresented as clinically proven to be safe and effective for weight loss. If you purchased certain Hydroxycut weight loss products between May 9, 2006 and May 1, 2009, you could be eligible for free products or a cash refund.

The Hydroxycut class action lawsuit alleged the defendants misrepresented that certain Hydroxycut products were clinically proven to be safe and effective for weight loss. Twenty similar class action lawsuits have also been filed throughout the United States. They were centralized in multidistrict litigation titled In re: Hydroxycut Marketing and Sales Practices Litigation.

The defendants (Kerr Investment Holding Corp. f/k/a Iovate Health Sciences Group Inc., Iovate Health Sciences Inc., and Iovate Health Sciences USA Inc.) deny the allegations but agreed to pay $14 million to settle the Hydroxycut class action lawsuit to avoid burdensome and costly litigation. The Hydroxycut class action settlement was preliminarily approved earlier this year.

  1. Lordsclay says:

They have it rigged so that you cannot get the cash rewards. If you chose all units in product for free, then it will go through. In other words, they are not out any money. So sad.

  2. Linda says:

If all else fails, submit your claim by mail, the first time you see it

  3. Kim says:

Linda–Thanks. I have tried just the cash option. And I still see the same error message. So confusing.

  4. Charleen Fragomeni says:

Ok So I got to the final page and \checked\ the box and put in my signature now I’m getting another error:
403 – Forbidden: Access is denied.

You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

How do you actually submit the form online?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  5. linda says:

You would choose product bundle if you are requesting that product for free as an award, for cash award do not choose that field , choose cash award only

  6. Kim says:

The main problem is selecting the cash reward.

  7. Kim says:

Does anyone know how to get the claim to submit? I am having the same issue. “Error: The total number of Product Bundle Awards chosen in Section 3 must equal the amount of the total number of Product Bundle Awards selected in Section 2.”

I don’t understand what the problem is.

  8. Bigfoot says:

Following the instructions do not work.

  9. sam says:

Hey I dont know if anyones actually pays out. Do not have much exp. My ex got a LOT of these and I asked her to top using ‘em. I dont think we keep receipts. HOW LONG after the deadline do they really pay out ? any clue from someone who’s got some exp with these claims
Ben : Read again what it says , if you do not want product reimbursement , the latter 2 para’s should be zeroed out , else their #”s should match. Simple as Dat. Duh!!!!

    1. Ben says:

You’re a sharp one moron. Give it a try. It doesn’t work.

But hey, your lack of intelligence explains your grammar!

    2. Sammy says:

Lol I think you could have just stopped at “Hey I don’t know” – seems like that would sum up your life sam

  10. Sammy says:

The claim site doesn’t work…..it keep saying the following:

“Error: The total number of Product Bundle Awards chosen in Section 3 must equal the amount of the total number of Product Bundle Awards selected in Section 2.”

    1. Sammy says:

      nevermind… im an idiot

      1. Patricia says:

No you are not an idiot this was not an easy claim form to fill out they made it some what confusing on propose.

        1. Ben says:

I must be missing something, as I keep running into the same thing. What did you do differently to get it to work?
