Consumers who purchased certain Hill’s Prescription Diet or Hill’s Science Diet canned dog food between Sept. 1, 2018 and May 31, 2019 may be eligible to claim up to $20 without a separate proof of purchase (such as a receipt) or their full purchase price with proof of purchase thanks to a $12.5 million class action settlement.

Compensation also is available for consumers whose pets were treated for injuries consistent with consumption of excess vitamin D. For all claim types (including for claims without a proof of purchase), consumers will be required to verify under penalty of perjury the facts relating to their claim.

A list of these products is available at www.PetFoodSettlement.com

I did contact them through their website and I received an email back that said ‘You must submit a Claim Form in order to get paid.’ and didn’t address the error in submitting the claim form. So what do we do now?

        1. Susan Dubinsky says:

I again tried to contact them regarding the website error and now the contact form is giving the same error when trying to submit. Seems like this whole thing is yet another scam from Hill’s.
