Details: If you purchased a new copy of an EA Madden NFL, NCAA Football or Arena Football video game between 2005 and 2012, you may be able to receive money from the EA football game class action settlement.
The EA video game settlement will resolve a 2008 class action lawsuit, titled Pecover v. Electronic Arts, Inc., that accused EA of violating antitrust and consumer protection lawsuits by holding exclusive license agreements with the NFL, NCAA and AFL to market branded football software. The alleged deal drove out competitors and enabled EA to price-gouge consumers, including by charging 70 percent more for “Madden NFL,” according to the class action lawsuit.
EA denies any wrongdoing, but has agreed to a $27 million class action lawsuit settlement to resolve the litigation.
Class Members of the EA football game class action settlement include all U.S. consumers who bought a new copy of an Electronic Arts’ Madden NFL, NCAA Football, or Arena Football video game for Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, GameCube, PC, or Wii, with a release date of January 1, 2005 to June 21, 2012.
If approved by the court at the February 7, 2013 Final Fairness Hearing, Settlement Class Members who submit timely and valid claim forms will receive the following CASH benefits:
— If you purchased Madden NFL, NCAA Football, or Arena Football video games for the Xbox, PlayStation 2, PC, or GameCube platforms (“Sixth Generation Purchasers”), you can receive $20.37 per new game purchased, up to a total of 8 units ($162.96).
— If you purchased Madden NFL, NCAA Football, or Arena Football video games for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, or Wii platforms (“Seventh Generation Purchasers”), you can receive $5.85 per new game purchased, up to a total of 8 units ($46.80).

Just underneath the EA logo above is a phone#, not sure if it is still valid or not, 1-888-213-8331. But if you click on the EA Litigation link above it gives the info about the appeal denial & also the same phone #.
I sent them an email asking about a projected mailing date and they responded with old information, didn’t even have the updated info from this site. What a bunch of bologna! I responded back advising them of the August 16, 2013 info and they said to contact them via email in 2 weeks for more information. I also asked for a phone number and was told no number available to speak to live person. I suggest some others email them and see what answers you get. Keep us posted what response you receive.
is there a tele# where you can actually speak to someone??
well Kevin all you have to do is listen. The checks are on the way.
