Bill Me Later Inc. has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit alleging it used an automatic dialing system to contact individuals by telephone without their consent, in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). If you received an automated or prerecorded telephone call made by or on behalf of Bill Me Later, you may be entitled to cash benefits from the class action settlement.
The TCPA prohibits companies from using automated telephone dialing systems or prerecorded voices to call consumers without their prior express consent. Violations of the TCPA can carry a $500 fine per phone call. The class action lawsuit alleged Bill Me Later and its agents violated the TCPA by making automated or prerecorded telephone calls to consumers who did not consent to receiving the phone calls.
Bill Me Later has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $9.9 million to settle the TCPA class action lawsuit and avoid the cost, risk and delay of trial.

this might be a sneaky way to get your information if you owe them money
SOMEOME AII WAY CALLING ME AND THEY BE TAKING MY MONEY OUT OF THE BANK SO IHAVE TO CALL THEM
Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC :: Home is part of ebay and bill me later. They called without consent, They called so many times. That we have change out the number
Is this legit or another practice to collect user information to distribute over the web? First time I ever heard a class action law suite that require every single detail from a customer, that should be illegal since you don’t know what they gone do with your information
Another way to get customer information be careful. Another tactic used to collect all the funds for themselves cause nobody feel comfortable giving out that many information to a unknown party
