Details on how to file a claim for the Barbara’s Bakery class action lawsuit settlement have arrived. If you purchased a Barbara’s Bakery product between 2008 and 2013, you may be eligible to claim up to $100 from the class action settlement.
The Barbara’s Bakery settlement resolves a class action lawsuit (Trammell v. Barbara’s Bakery) that all alleges the company mislabeled its cereal and snack products as “all natural” when they actually contain genetically modified (GMO) ingredients.
Barbara’s Bakery denies the allegations, but has agreed to resolve the litigation by offering up to $100 in reimbursements to consumers and removing the terms “all natural,” “no artificial additives,” “no artificial preservatives” and “no artificial flavors” from its packaging on foods that contain GMOs or artificial ingredients.
A federal judge preliminarily approved the class action settlement on June 21, 2013. A Final Fairness Hearing will be held November 8, 2013.
Class Members of the Barbara’s Bakery settlement include all U.S. consumers who purchased eligible products from May 23, 2008 through July 5, 2013. These products include cereals, cereal bars, fig bars, cheese puffs, granola bars, Snackimals animal cookies, organic mini cookies, snack mixes and crackers. See the full list of eligible products.
Class Members that submit a valid Claim Form no later than January 1, 2014 will get up to $100 to reimburse the money they paid to purchase these products. The amount of money you may receive will depend on the total amount of money you spent on the eligible products during the Class Period.

Got my check today…. $15 from Rust. EDITOR’S NOTE – No you didn’t. -TCA Staff
Pam what state are you from?
Pam you couldn’t have gotten 15 from this settlement…. Please try posting on the correct settlement.
These checks will not go our until June
It is not the product companies that are dragging this on it is the Distribution Administrator firms that have to make sure each and every claim is correct, while they get the bulk of the money right away and they rest of the plaintiff consumers have to wait for the left over crumbs!!!!
This is how it goes:
1. Court Fees
2. Attorney Fees
3. Charitable Funds if applicable
4. Main Plaintiffs
5. Distribution Fund Administrator fees to cover services and postal fees
6.The rest of the plaintiffs
Robert, Rust will do everything they can to make sure that most claims will be denied.
Your nothing but a troll. Your claims probably get denied because your to dumb to figure out how to fill one out correctly.
I hope you’re not the president of Rust. Why so angry?
Where is the money? All these lawsuits are bogus!!!!!!!!!!! We are never going to see a dime from these suits, as usual the big companies get away with misusing the consumers and then don’t want to pay up when it’s time. Shame on them!!!!!!!!!!!!
