Add me, they tried to tell me I owed them almost 10,000 because of overpayments and I didn’t even get four of the payments they said they put in my account but yet added those to that, and disqualifies me for many weeks so I got nothing even after sending all required documents to them.
How about this one: I received a denial letter Before my paperwork was even completely submitted. If I filed in March, paperwork was due in May but got denial letter in late March for not submitting in time. Michigan is Known for doing this. I lost out on Months of benefits. They were told I was being evicted, they knew it was using food pantries and still, nothing. They totally destroyed me mentally and financially of course.
Are there any active legal actions pertaining to COVID-19 relief payments for self-employed individuals who were approved but never received their allocated funds?

Got my approval letter was never awarded my money was locked out of my account was allowed a access to my boyfriend’s not even my spouse or anything of that nature never been married was allowed access to his account at this point they had me change all of his information to my information then I had to have him present in order for him to release my account back to me what a nightmare never once did I receive a single dollar yet I was working through all of this and he an individual who was not working received quite a large lump sum on the upper end of $30,000 and never has worked I don’t know if he ever worked his whole life but here I am I was working and didn’t receive a penny received multiple letters sent in proof of who I was and had to be sent in by a certain day I got copies of everything and never once got a phone call got a payment got nothing it caused me to go homeless at this point I lost everything I need help getting the money I’m owed.
UIA was a terrible mess. At first they were impossible to contact. They would deny, then pay, take money back. They would deny saying my wife wasn’t the person who applied. She won in court, got some money, then they said that she wasn’t the person who filed. They wanted it back. She sued again and won. We think that she got all her money but went through agony calling and filing so many claims and accusing her that she wasn’t herself even though she sent in ID proof at least 6 times.
The UIA is run by incompetence.

I was told many different things I was on hold and never got back with me left me on hold when they were probably home eating dinner, my phone would say incoming call from unemployment id call them back and they said they never contacted me, they also said I needed proof of identity I went all in taking photos with my driver’s license and SS card , they have also told me I didn’t send my SS card number, I have my original copy and yes cause I fax license and SS card on same papers, they have put me on hold and pretended to loose signal, so much hatred unbearable, I’ve worked since I’ve been Born my parents were brutal and since I was 16 I always had a paycheck!
