Reservie-trans-reservatrol

Vitamin Shoppe Inc. has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit that alleges the company made false and misleading statements about the ingredients in its Reservie Trans-Resveratrol dietary supplement.

If you purchased Vitamin Shoppe’s Reservie Trans-Resveratrol at any time between Jan. 1, 2011 and June 6, 2016, you may be entitled to a cash payment from the Vitamin Shoppe class action settlement.

The Reservie Trans-Resveratrol class action lawsuit was filed in January 2015 by plaintiff Rebecca Scheuerman, who alleged that the supplement’s label falsely represented the amount of the Trans-Resveratrol French grape seed extract that is actually contained in the supplement.

Trans-Resveratrol is a naturally-occurring chemical commonly found in grape skins and in red wine. While it is commonly associated with grapes, it can also be found in knotweed, which the Reservie class action lawsuit alleges is a much cheaper source of trans-reservatrol than French grape seed extract.

According to the Vitamin Shoppe class action lawsuit, Reservie Trans-Resveratrol is actually made up of Japanese Knotweed, not French grape seed extract. Scheuerman alleges she and other purchasers of Reservie have overpaid for the product.

Vitamin Shoppe denies the allegations but has agreed to settle the Reservie Trans-Resveratrol class action lawsuit to avoid the burden and expense of ongoing litigation. The Reservie class action settlement was preliminarily approved on June 17, 2016.

Class Members who wish to object to or exclude themselves from the Reservie false advertising settlement must do so no later than Sept. 23, 2016.

Never got mine. They told me, The questionnaire was emailed to the email address provided when the claim was submitted online. The Court has issued a final order approving payment on valid claims to class members who completed the questionnaire and provided adequate responses. Whereas a questionnaire was not completed for your claim, your claim was denied in accordance with the Court’s order.

I have never received any questionnaire. And I did fill out the whole claim form.
