I have a possible class action and haven’t seen anything about it. Ive seen numerous reports on reddit about it. It happened to my friend. And is currently happening to my husband’s phone. He has a Google pixel 6. The battery is swelling and the whole screen is lifted off the bottom exposing the insides of the phone. We are fighting tooth and nail to get it replaced or fixed. Its literally a bomb and can explode and hurt our family. Its bad and happened over a days time. Again I just talked to a friend of mine and it happened to her Google pixel 6 and her husband’s Google pixel 3. As well as numerous other folks on reddit. Why is this not a big thing being reported and fixed? Its not like the phone is that old. I imagine if it burnt a whole family’s home down we’d see more press about it. Well it could have been us had we not really looked into it further. All Google support had to tell me was that they will get back to me in 24 to 48 hours and to turn it off and keep it in an isolated area but I have no where isolated to keep it as I live in a trailer park. So if my home goes up in flames so does my neighbors. Please someone reach out to me about this!!! I can see this being big!!
There is serious price gauging going on in NYC by uber. We are being quoted a price, then upon taking the ride; the fee escalates by $10 to $15.
We are not advised, or allowed to change the route after entering the car. Bad routes are used, drivers are not asking what our preferred route is. You can try to fight but getting customer service is unreliable and a process. You will get refunded (maybe) if you are dedicated, but they bank on you giving up. This is pretty common in NYC.
I work for the State of Maryland. When Covid hit the Governor declared a State of Emergency. Governor’s Declaration states that we would get paid time and 1/2 in the State of Emergency. We were open for about a week and no one got paid time and half. About a 1 1/2 years later it was found that some members of the Union were going to get a 2500 check because no one was paid for time and half. This was facilitated by the AFSME Union. You had to sign a petition. I was a member of the Union and knew nothing about signing a petition. When I called Mildred the head union person at Motor Vehicle Administration I was told they sent out emails and phone calls to people> I said I received no notification about this. I even have a Union Rep at my office and still knew nothing. I’m not the only one, It seems the only ones who got the check were either previous Reps or present Reps. My branch has 24 people and 4 got the check. How can a Union take funds from your check and not include everyone. It should have been every member received a check. I would like to bring a suit against AFSME. I `understand there are alot of members that did not receive the check.
I would like to submit a consumer lawsuit for Airbnb unfair cleaning fees associated with booking fees with Airbnb nation wide. I feel the fees was very unfair that was forced upon the consumer when booking properties to stay for vacations or other related reasons. The cleaning fees were obsessive and costly when trying to book an Airbnb stay. The Airbnb owner or owners of said properties would not hire professional cleaners and clean the properties themselves without hiring professional cleaners. I was charged hundreds of dollars out of pocket not just for the stay but, also cleaning fees. Now Airbnb does not charge cleaning fees on their bookings anymore but, what about all the consumers such as myself that has lost hundreds of dollars for these outrages fees?
I would like to seek help in specifically car rental companies such as Enterprise. I booked a reservation only to arrive at the location and they have nothing available equivalent to what I reserved. No phone calls to me. I was dropped off at the location and they didn’t even have a vehicle for me. How can these companies accept a reservation only for the customer to show up she get told sorry we don’t have any vehicles for you?!
