Good Evening Top Class Actions Subscribers!
ALERT! The DVD/TV Marketing Settlement closes on 1/12! If you bought a product from a TV ad you may be able to submit your claim. California and Ohio residents can claim CASH! Everyone else can claim phone cards. Click here for the DVD/TV Marketing settlement or here for all Open Settlements.
Are you hit hard by the recession? It’s hurting everyone. Please forward this newsletter to your family and friends. These settlements are the only legitimate way to get free cash on the internet. Don’t believe those free government grant ads or ads stating the government will give you money to start your business. They’re all BALONEY! Remember, if a site is CHARGING you for the info, even only a “handling” charge it’s likely a scam. The Government would tell you for free. I noticed that the checks shown in some of those ads look mysteriously like Google AdSense checks. Coincidence? I think not. Claim a settlement today!
What settlements are new or updated?
We added the Sprint Nextel Early Termination Fee (ETF) class action lawsuit settlement. If you were a customer from 7/1/99 – 12/31/08 OR started your service prior to 12/31/08 and still are a Sprint Nextel customer you should be able to make your claim for CASH! $90 if you canceled or $35 if you didn’t because of the threat of the ETF. This includes you if you were a customer from one of the companies that Sprint gobbled up (Nextel and Nextel Partners for example.) Click here for the Sprint Nextel ETF.
The Cosmetics class action lawsuit settlement is COMING UP! This is the one which is giving away FREE cosmetics. All you have to do is show up at the store on January 20th, 2009. Each store listed is getting their share of $175,000,000 in cosmetics to give away. We recommend you show up early. One free item per person and you must sign an affidavit stating you purchased cosmetics between 5/29/94 and 7/16/03. Once the store is out they won’t get any more to give away. Check out the details, including what exactly is being given away and where.

Baloney Alert:
“Free” trials of Colon cleanse treatments, Acai Berry Supplements/diet programs.
We have received literally dozens of complaints about dozens of businesses scamming people out of their money. They sign up for a “free” trial but are charged shipping and handling. A week later they get their bank accounts cleansed rather than their colon for anywhere from $45 – $100 or more and the charges keep on coming (along with a box of what’s essentially super charged Metamucil every month.) Good luck canceling! Most people have to cancel their checking accounts to get the charges to stop. Can you sue them? Unfortunately it’s REALLY hard because they’re a scam. There’s usually nothing to get back. The money’s gone. Remember, if it’s FREE, it should be TOTALLY FREE (like this newsletter and the articles on TopClassActions.com!) Don’t give out your credit card or checking number.
If you were wronged and deserve financial compensation, make sure to let us know. Not all complaints are taken on by attorneys in our network, but that doesn’t mean that your options have run out. We’re writing articles about some of your experiences so others don’t fall into the same trap. Voice your grievance! We want to know!
That’s all for now! Please forward this email to your friends! We appreciate you spreading the word about Top Class Actions!
Warm Regards,
