By John Curran

Chantix side effects lawsuit lawyersPfizer is facing more than 2,000 claims by Chantix suicide side effects class action lawsuit lawyers and those citing other Chantix side effects. This week, it became clear that Pfizer wanted to be able to offer testimony about its former cash cow, except when it didn’t.

The company released a privately-performed study it says showed that its anti-smoking drug is more effective than a placebo at helping patients quit smoking, while producing fewer Chantix violent thoughts side effects. Few outlets had any details of the report, especially the number of patients. When Pfizer asked for a stay on the Chantix lawsuit trial for more than two months, the judge quickly nixed the idea.

For one, the first Chantix side effects lawsuit is set to be heard in Alabama in less than a week. Further, Judge Inge Johnson noted that the company did not use an outside testing source. Pfizer is still likely to use the data in an attempt to disprove Chantix suicidal thoughts side effects through an expert witness of some kind. On the business side, the best expert witnesses are nowhere in sight.

Pfizer is claiming that their CEO and other senior executives should not have to testify or be deposed prior to the trial. In spite of their likely awareness of any potential Chantix suicide side effects with a drug that made them hundreds of millions of dollars, the firm is using a small detail.
