NuvaRing Lawsuits Grow Amid New Blood Clot Studies

New research indicating the contraceptive device NuvaRing can significantly increase a users’ risk of developing dangerous blood clots has spawned a flurry of lawsuits seeking compensation for blood clot injuries. Due to the large number of NuvaRing lawsuits, a federal panel established a multidistrict litigation in Missouri to handle the claims. So far, nearly 1,000 NuvaRing lawsuits have joined the MDL and NuvaRing lawyers expect even more to be filed as blood clot victims learn that NuvaRing may have been the culprit.
