Cardinal Financial agreed to pay $7.2 million to resolve a class action lawsuit claiming it violated Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by contacting consumers without their express consent.

The settlement benefits individuals who were contacted by Cardinal Financial between Nov. 23, 2017, and Nov. 9, 2022, at telephone numbers supplied by iLeads. According to the settlement website, there are 141,049 class members included under this definition.

Cardinal Financial hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $7.2 million settlement to resolve the TCPA class action lawsuit.

Under the terms of the settlement, class members can receive an equal share of the net settlement fund.
