
Concora Credit Inc. has agreed to a $9.375 million class action settlement to resolve claims it violated the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by placing calls to consumers using an artificial or prerecorded voice without their prior express consent.
The Concora Credit settlement benefits all persons in the United States to whom Concora Credit placed or caused to be placed a call directed to a telephone number assigned to a cellular telephone service but not assigned to a Concora Credit accountholder, in connection with which Concora Credit used, or caused to be used, an artificial or prerecorded voice, from May 2, 2021, through May 31, 2026.
Concora Credit is a credit company that provides loans to consumers. According to the class action lawsuit, Concora violated the TCPA, which prohibits telemarketers from calling consumers with an artificial or prerecorded voice without their prior express consent.
Concora has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $9.375 million class action settlement to resolve the allegations.
Under the terms of the Concora Credit settlement, class members can receive a cash payment. Class members who submit a valid claim form will be entitled to an equal share of the settlement fund after certain amounts are deducted.
According to the settlement website, each participating and approved member of the settlement class will receive between $250 and $650. The actual amount each participating and approved member of the settlement class will receive may be more or less depending on the number of participating class members who submit approved claims.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is Oct. 19, 2026.
The final fairness hearing for the Concora Credit prerecorded phone calls class action settlement will take place on Nov. 24, 2026.
Class members who wish to receive a settlement payment must submit a valid claim form by Oct. 19, 2026.
Who’s Eligible
The class action settlement benefits anyone in the United States who received a call from Concora Credit, or a call Concora Credit caused to be placed, to a cellular telephone number that was not assigned to a Concora account holder, in connection with which Concora used or caused to be used an artificial or prerecorded voice, from May 2, 2021, through May 31, 2026.
