A $19.99 million Tubi settlement resolves claims the streaming service shared user information without consent.
The video streaming settlement benefits consumers who used the Tubi video streaming service between June 23, 2021, and Aug. 26, 2024.
According to the privacy class action lawsuit, Tubi shared users’ personal information with third parties without first obtaining consent. This information sharing allegedly violated the federal Video Privacy Protection Act.
Tubi is a movie and TV show streaming service.
Tubi hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to pay $19.99 million to resolve the VPPA class action lawsuit.
Under the terms of the Tubi settlement, class members can receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. Exact payments will vary depending on the number of claims filed and other factors. No payment estimates are available at this time.
The deadline for exclusion or objection is Oct. 31, 2024.
The final approval hearing for the settlement is scheduled for Dec. 4, 2024.
To receive Tubi class action settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by Nov. 28, 2024.

Yeah my lawyer keeps saying there is still time to wait and that’s the final curt date Barely happened on August 6 of 2025 but yet says still 3 or 4 more months I told him to shove it in get another lawyer on him for lying and hold him accountable for me not receiving my money yet it’s not like the car is not won and he won’t get the money coming to him like he couldn’t pay a few people out of his own pocket yeah right Kelly services lawyers sucks don’t recommend
When will they start sending out the claim money to ppl who filed claims?
Has this paid out? I have my claim ID and Pin number. I have not received any from the settlement.
Sir if we were already paying out then your check (if you were approved) will be sent along with all the others. Please be patient these things take time. If you don’t receive any payment then your claim was denied.
So when are payments expected to be mailed out? I filled out a claim form and submitted it . I also received a email stating that I was eligible for the lawsuit.
I filled out this claim but I haven’t received my check yet. I used my physical address which is 84 East Railroad Terrace but I received my mail at my mailbox PO Box 615, Brooksville,Ms 39739.
