Asbestos exposure is the most common cause of deadly mesothelioma cancer.

Mesothelioma cancer affects the tissue that lines the stomach, heart, lungs, or any other organ of the body. Thousands of people each year are known to die from this condition and from other diseases that result from exposure to asbestos.

Mesothelioma cancer is purportedly rare, according to a study in the British Journal of Cancer. Researcher stated that twice as many people die from lung cancer through asbestos exposure than from mesothelioma.
