Woman Initiates Samsung Top Load Washer Class Action Lawsuit Due to RustA Samsung top load washer class action lawsuit was recently filed by a woman who says that because of the rusting associated with the machine, she was not able to use the machine as intended. The lawsuit is being filed in California federal court.

A Samsung top load washer class action lawsuit investigation has also been initiated over reports that the top load washer does indeed rust prematurely. If you or someone you know purchased a Samsung top loading washing machine, you may be able to join a Samsung top load washer class action lawsuit investigation.

Many consumers who have purchased a Samsung top load washer have complained of premature rusting in the washing machines. However, Samsung has advertised its machines to be “gentler on clothes” and resistant to chipping and rust.

But customers do complain of rust within the washing machines’ water drums, as early as one year after purchase. Rust then renders the machine unusable and compromises its function as a washing machine.

Some complaints surrounding the Samsung top load washer is that, despite a recall that occurred in November 2017, Samsung fails to address the rust issue and consumers are required to face technicians who will not fix the issue.

These complaints have prompted the initiation of a class action lawsuit investigation.

Overview: Samsung Top Load Washer

A class action lawsuit was recently filed against Samsung over allegations that the company’s top load washer causes the machine to prematurely fail due to rust. One case and claim made by a customer alleged that it was only a year after purchase that she discovered rust on a top loading machine she purchased in 2013.

The customer claims that by 2017, she could no longer wash clothes because the machine was so rusted. She was also simply told by Samsung technicians that the rust was a “cosmetic” issue and nothing more. All this resulted in her having to wash her clothes elsewhere since the rust on the top loading machine would damage her clothing.

A Samsung washer voluntary recall was announced in November 2017. The recall involved top load washers manufactured between March 2011 and October 2016. The recall was the result of reports of significant issues involving the top load washer.

Some of these issues included triggering excessive vibrations, the washer drum losing balance, and reports of the washer’s top portion to separate from the machine’s body. Other problems associated with the machine occurred when the washer was placed on a high-speed cycle and used to wash water-resistant items, bulky items, and bedding.

However, even despite the recall, consumers are still complaining that rust issues associated with the Samsung top load washer are still not being acknowledged. Technicians are also not being made available to help fix the issue.

Legal action may be taken through the filing of a Samsung top load washer lawsuit and through joining a Samsung top load washer class action lawsuit investigation.

The Samsung Top Load Washer Lawsuit is Case No. 30-2018-00968326-CU-FR-CXC, in the Superior Court of the State of California, County of Orange.

I don’t know if it’s rust as I thought it was mold on clothes. Slimey particles in drum after wash no matter how many times you “clean” washer. Started having trouble within in months of use. Even following keeping door open after washes.

Now it is PATHETIC even more! It’s every wash now that dark particles are on clothes after each wash!!!!!!!!

I know post is old of lawsuit, but we need to have another if that one is closed etc. Please help us!!!!! I see other recent posts! We deserve compensation or a new washer, but uggghhh not a Samsung washer.

I was part of the first lawsuit where the washer tops were blowing off, a second recall in 2017 was for excess vibration and noise….they came out to fix both problems. This extended my warranty under the class action suite to 2018.
Now the entire machine is rusting and they are not even willing to come look at it because you only get one free out of warranty charge. I believe they used the wrong screws that are now rusting cause damage to my clothes.
Never will I purchase another Samsung product of any kind. Their customer service is horrible. When a unit is this bad you shouldn’t have to argue for a remedy

Please add me. My washer started rusting after about 2 years. It’s about six years old now and the technician said he couldn’t do the recall fix for the lid, because it’s too rusty to take apart!
