Stellantis North America has announced a recall affecting approximately 123,400 Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer SUVs from model years 2022 to 2024.
The Jeep recall addresses a potential safety hazard where the quarter trim on the driver and passenger side windows may not be securely attached, posing a risk of detachment.
The recall was issued Sept. 25 and affects specific models of Jeep Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer vehicles. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the detached trim pieces could become road hazards, increasing the likelihood of accidents.
Stellantis has not yet developed a repair solution, but plans to notify affected vehicle owners through interim letters starting Nov. 14. These letters will inform owners of the safety risk, with additional communication to follow once a remedy is available.
