Powerbeats2 Powerbeats2 battery chargingMany people who buy the pricey Powerbeats 3 headphones expect that their Powerbeats 3 battery life will last for as long as promised. But some customers claim this is not the case.

When the Powerbeats 3 headphones came out in October of 2016 near the release of Apple’s iPhone 7, customers were very excited to purchase them. But reports of a less-than-optimal Powerbeats 3 battery life and many detrimental customer reviews have sullied the Beats name a bit.

Beats, a popular audio, music and headphones company founded by Dr. Dre in 2006, has made its name by offering superior headphones to customers.

In 2014, Apple purchased Beats for a record $3.2 billion. This purchase is the largest purchase in the history of Apple.

With the purchase of Beats, Apple also offers its warranty on Beats products. However, many customers have not been happy with the newest Beats headphones, Powerbeats 3.

Powerbeats 3 owners have complained about multiple issues with the product, and one of the most common complaints is about Powerbeats 3 battery life. Owners have said that the headphones do not hold a charge and that the Powerbeats 3 battery life is not what has been promised.

Many Powerbeats 3 owners also claim that the product itself is defective, and that when they have asked for repair or a replacement for their product, they were simply given the same defective headphones.

The warranty gives three options to customers if a product is defective. Replacement, repair and refund are the three remedies that Apple offers. Many customers opt to have the headphones replaced.

The one year limited warranty offered by Apple should cover defective products. However, some customers are claiming that the product itself is innately defective and that the warranty does not really offer what it should.

Customers have been honest about what they think about Powerbeats and the Powerbeats 3 battery life.

One customer review on the Apple website itself is titled “GAR-BAGE.” The customer writes about the Powerbeats 3 battery life: “I’m in total agreement with all the comments. I’m currently waiting for apple to ship me my 3rd pair. Same as everyone else… sweat a little and they just die, don’t charge, don’t connect to my phone…nothing. Don’t believe the hype.  If these next ones go out on me also, I’m done with beats!”

Another customer review says the following about the Powerbeats 3 battery life, “I didn’t read the reviews before buying. I’ve had them for several months with some charging and turning on issues. Today they wouldn’t charge and I tried everything. I called tech support they are sending me another pair. However if those fail I will want my money back. Buy something else avoid the headache.”

One customer writes, “Had these for about a little over a month and they won’t stay on for more than 2 minutes without powering off.”

If you have purchased Powerbeats 3 headphones and have experienced less-than-optimal Powerbeats 3 battery life problems, you may benefit from speaking with an attorney. You may be entitled to legal compensation.
