The online store of popular YouTuber MrBeast — also known as Jimmy Donaldson — is plagued with issues including overcharging customers and sending the wrong items, a new class action lawsuit alleges.
Plaintiff Ashley Wilder filed the class action lawsuit against Beast Holdings LLC and Revolt Enterprises LLC on Nov. 8 in a California federal court, alleging violations of state and federal consumer laws.
Beast Holdings LLC is the parent company for Donaldson’s business dealings, the lawsuit states.
Donaldson has, in recent years, opened an online store at shopmrbeast.com, it adds.
However, the online store has been plagued with overcharges, misdelivered products and indefinite delays that “often face no response from Defendants in spite of their automated response to all customers that Defendants ‘will get back to you with a human response within 24-48 hours,’” Wilder alleges.
As a result, numerous customers have allegedly suffered damages in the form of overcharges or misdelivered or never delivered products, with no way to receive a refund or an exchange, the MrBeast class action alleges.

Around Aug. 4, 2022, Wilder purchased what she believed to be a small T-shirt for $24.94, she says. Instead, she was charged $40 and received a size 4T T-shirt.
“Plaintiff has made numerous attempts to contact Defendants since this order was placed, and all have gone unanswered, save by automatic replies,” the MrBeast class action states. “Plaintiff would not have purchased the product or paid as much for it had she known that Defendants would overcharge her and/or fail to deliver the product as ordered.”
Numerous complaints through websites like the Better Business Bureau and Trustpilot describe similar return, exchange or “refund nightmares,” she says.
Wilder looks to represent anyone in the United States who made purchases on the MrBeast website that were either unfulfilled, fulfilled incorrectly or overcharged.
She sued for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and violations of the Kentucky Consumer Protection Act. She seeks certification of the class action lawsuit, damages, fees, costs and a jury trial.
