Ford recalls overview:
- Who: Ford Motor Co. issued two recalls for nearly 290,000 vehicles affecting certain Ford Bronco, F-Super Duty, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator and Lincoln MKC vehicles.
- Why: The recalls were initiated due to faulty rearview camera imagery concerns.
- Where: The recalls affect certain Ford vehicle owners nationwide.
Ford Motor Co. issued two recalls involving nearly 290,000 of its vehicles last month over concerns related to rearview camera imagery.
The first recall, issued April 23, involves certain 2015 F-250, F-350, F-450, Expedition, Lincoln Navigator, and MKC vehicles.
The recall was initiated over concerns that the vehicles were equipped with “suspect” rearview cameras that could intermittently display a blank or distorted image, due to a loss of electrical conductivity.
The second recall, issued April 24, involves nearly 129,000 model year 2022-2023 Ford Bronco vehicles equipped with an optional 360-degree camera system.
Ford said it is concerned drivers of the recalled Bronco vehicles may “intermittently experience” an issue with their rear camera image either when the vehicle is placed in reverse or when the 360-degree view is selected and available.
“Loss of rear camera image while in reverse increases the risk of a crash,” the Ford Bronco recall says.
Ford says customers will receive a repair notice when parts are available
For both recalls, Ford said it will notify those affected by mail with instructions to take their vehicles to a Ford or Lincoln dealer to have their rearview camera repaired or replaced, free of charge.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 05, 2025.
Owners may contact Ford Customer Service at 1-866-436-7332 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 888-327-4236 (TTY 888-275-9171) or visit nhtsa.gov.
The automaker issued a similar recall in March for more than 56,000 vehicles — including certain Ford Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, Lincoln Corsair, Ford Edge, and Ford Escape models — over concerns that their rearview cameras could prevent an image from displaying correctly.

I have a customer from GM FINANCIAL that has obtained sufficient evidence for a class action against GM for co-mingling funds, security manipulation, Selling buyers loans to investors, double dipping and using the borrowers payments as the actual loan while pooling them together and selling them as investments.
I have a 2012 Ford F-150 that has camera issues
I had 2 Ford F150 SVT Raptors, 1 was limited edition, both valued over $165K. They had a recall that would cause Trans to go from high gear to 1st on its own. The company knew and did not inform until months N months later. Then not by a letter, but by a text message. By then, it was too late. I already totaled both, and Progressive not only raised my insurance, they took away my safety drivers discount from States School attended. Undervalued the settlements. By thousands.
Please add me my 2021 ford explorer is on recall for the 360 camera.
I have a 2011 Ford edge all-wheel drive that has rear view camera issues
