My 2017 Ford escape has a recall on it for powertrain malfunction. Ford does not want to replace my transmission. they know that it is a recall but they tell me it’s not for my vehicle. The recall is on 2017 Ford escapes. So I’m fighting now with the corporate office of Ford for them to fix my car that’s been in the shop for three weeks now. When there’s a recall on a car for should take responsibility of fixing a recall problem.

I bought a 2017 Ford Edge with 40K miles used in 2019. At around 70K miles, I had to have the engine replaced. Then at around 110,000K miles my flex plate broke which caused two additional issues. I dropped my car off at a Ford dealership around August 17, 2022 and have been waiting on parts. It is now January 6, 2023 with no eta as to when my car will be fixed. Any ideas on how to get out from under this piece of crap would be appreciated. Thank you!
