A couple filed an asbestos exposure lawsuit against his employer and associated companies, alleging that their neglectful actions led to his exposure to asbestos and subsequent diagnosis with cancer from asbestos.
Plaintiff Robert W. and his wife Nancy W.,claim in the asbestos exposure lawsuit that the defendants neglected to take action to protect the plaintiff from exposure to asbestos, and further claim that at least one of the defendants was are of various asbestos dangers, including cancer from asbestos, but failed to warn the plaintiff.
The couple filed this asbestos exposure lawsuit against several companies responsible for asbestos-containing products around which Robert worked during his career as a general laborer, including Aurora Pump Co., Cooper Industries LLC, General Electric Col, Pneumo Abex LLC, and Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. The lawsuit cites negligence, willful and wanton misconduct, conspiracy, and several other counts.
Robert worked as a general laborer from 1969 to 2000, taking on various capacities such as sheet metal worker and mechanic. His duties in this job exposed him regularly to products containing asbestos.
The asbestos exposure lawsuit claims that Robert was diagnosed with cancer from asbestos exposure from the products he worked with during his career, though the exposure cannot be tied down to a single particular defendant.
Robert learned that he had developed lung cancer in February 2015.
While Metropolitan Life is not responsible for the asbestos-containing products with which Robert worked, the asbestos exposure lawsuit claims that Metropolitan Life was involved in a conspiracy to hide its knowledge of the dangers of exposure to asbestos, despite having allegedly known about these dangers for years.
Robert is looking for at least $50,000 per defendant per charge against them.

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral used for commercial purposes such as electrical or building insulation, as well as countless other uses. Asbestos’ microscopic fibers can accumulate in the lungs and cause several critical health problems, the worst of which is lung cancer.
Asbestos Exposure Lawsuits

Asbestos exposure can lead to lung cancer diagnosis, incurring physical, mental, and emotional pain and suffering, as well as serious medical expenses.

Companies should also be aware of its ability to cause disease and even fatalities. There are now many asbestos regulations in place to prevent these kinds of issues.
Many people exposed to asbestos, often construction workers, have filed asbestos mesothelioma lawsuits after being diagnosed with mesothelioma, searching for some kind of compensatory mesothelioma lawsuit payouts.
