Numerous consumer Bose SoundSport reviews allege the batteries in these wireless headphones prematurely fail and cannot hold a charge. The Bose SoundSport reviews also name other problems, like headphones breaking apart and not being able to withstand sweat from the consumer’s body.
Considering the fact that these wireless headphones are marketed to be durable and long lasting against moisture, these reported problems have frustrated many consumers.
Some Bose SoundSport reviews also state that the company failed to supply replacement headphones, and that the new headphones would fail just as quickly as the first model and would have the same issues with the battery.
Certain headphones in the Bose SoundSport line are marketed to have a long battery life, with five to six hours between charges. They’re also promoted as being more durable compared to other headphones. Like other wireless headphones, Bose utilizes Bluetooth technology to give consumers the convenience of an easier workout.
According to the company’s advertisements, Bose SoundSport wireless headphones are supposed to be resistant to sweat and moisture that consumers produce during exercise routines.
“Sweating it out in the gym or running through the rain, these are sport earphones built to keep you going every step of the way. The acoustic ports are positioned to resist sweat and weather, and a hydrophobic cloth keeps moisture out,” Bose states.
In addition, the Bose SoundSport wireless headphones are also marked to be easy to fit over the ears and designed to securely stay in place during the workout. Furthermore, the Bose SoundSport wireless headphones can also give consumers additional information about their health including their heart rate.
For a retail price of around $150, consumers say they expect a lot from their Bose SoundSport earbuds. But according to some online product reviews, these headphones don’t always perform as expected.

There have been a number of Bose SoundSport reviews describing a number of problems with the expensive headphones. One such review found on the Bose website states:
“I bought the original wireless headphones a couple of years ago. Those lasted me about 2 years and were awesome. The new version however I bought in June 2018 (blue color) and I’m already on my third pair. The headphones keep dying mysteriously after a month’s use. One day they are working and the next day they die. You charge them overnight and they still don’t come back to life. I am very disappointed to have to constantly go to the Bose store and have to switch them out for new ones. The store consultants can’s pinpoint the issue.”
Other Bose SoundSport reviews show reports of similar problems, with some purchasers stating that even their replacement headphones had the same battery issues.
