A plaintiff has filed an asbestos lung cancer lawsuit against CBS Corporation and other companies due to his diagnosis of lung cancer from his exposure to asbestos.
According to the asbestos lung cancer lawsuit, plaintiff Robert R. was employed by the defendants between 1962 and 1967 as an outside mechanic.
His employment required him to work in places such as submarines and shipyards doing repair and construction.
The asbestos lung cancer lawsuit states, between 1962 and 1967 he was exposed to asbestos products while he was employed doing work for Electric Boat Corp.
The asbestos lung cancer lawsuit states that Robert was “exposed to asbestos fibers and material manufactured by the defendants.”
According to the asbestos lung cancer lawsuit, he was forced to encounter the asbestos product, fibers and dust.
Under the Connecticut Products Liability Law, the asbestos lung cancer lawsuit states that CBS Corporation presented an inherent risk of harm to Robert. By doing so, moreover, the company“failed to advise the plaintiff of the dangerous characteristics” of their asbestos-related products.
Robert files the first count against the defendants as Products Liability and the second count for exemplary or punitive damages.
