New Johnson And Johnson Talc Lawsuit Claims Dangers Associated with Baby PowderPlaintiff Kristen S. has initiated a Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit on behalf of her late mother The loss of her mother was tied to a diagnosis of ovarian cancer that Kristen maintains was developed due to her mother’s regular use of baby powder products made by Johnson and Johnson.

The plaintiff who filed the Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit alleges that the company is responsible for failing to warn the public about the dangers associated with their baby powder and talc products and that this ultimately caused the death of the decedent.

The Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit claims that the diagnosis of ovarian cancer for the decedent, Jean L., ultimately led to her death from ovarian cancer.

The Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit specifically states that the diagnosis and death linked to ovarian cancer were both proximately and directly caused by prolonged and regular exposure to talc powder in the form of the Shower to Shower product and Johnson and Johnson baby powder.

The plaintiff in the Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit is the sole beneficiary and successor of the decedent’s estate. According to the Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit, the decedent was born in 1940 and used the Shower to Shower and baby powder products for her entire life.

She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2016 and passed away from complications related to that ovarian cancer on Dec. 19th, 2017. The Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit explains that the talc is a carcinogen and that the defendant knew this or should have known this and failed to provide this critical information to users.

The Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit lists some of the marketing messages presented by the company, making it seem that the Shower to Shower and baby powder products were safe for daily usage and were not connected to significant dangers.

The first study that suggested a connection between talc and ovarian cancer was carried out in 1971, and there have been multiple epidemiologic studies that have followed this up.

Plenty of these women or their surviving family members have opted to file a Johnson and Johnson talc lawsuit because they believe that the regular usage of the talc is what exposed their loved ones to the development of ovarian cancer.

Many similar claims are made in these different lawsuits alleging that regular or even daily use of the Shower to Shower product or baby powder products in the groin area can expose women to the risk of developing ovarian cancer when those particles can travel inside the user’s body.

If you or someone you know believes you have already suffered the consequences of receiving a diagnosis of ovarian cancer due to talc powder, you may have grounds to file a lawsuit. Since ovarian cancer is a serious diagnosis, this could be filed by the diagnosed party or surviving loved ones.

The Johnson and Johnson Talc Lawsuit is case 4:18-CV-05372-DMR; filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California’s San Francisco-Oakland Division.
