North Community Bank ATM Fee Class Action Settlement

The North Community Bank ATM fee settlement will resolve a class action lawsuit, entitled Siragusa v. North Community Bank, that alleges the bank violated the Electronic Funds Transfer Act (EFTA) by failing to have appropriate surcharge fee notices posted on its ATMs. North Community Bank denies any wrongdoing, but has agreed to settle the class action lawsuit for $120,000 to avoid ongoing litigation.
Class Members of the North Community Bank ATM fee class action settlement include anyone who, from May 1, 2008 through April 30, 2009, was charged a transaction fee for using an ATM operated by North Community Bank at any of the following locations:
2301 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60614
2000 W. Roscoe St., Chicago, IL 60618
2544 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago, IL 60614
4639 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, IL 60625
3551 N. Sheffield Ave., Chicago, IL 60657
959 W. Addison St., Chicago, IL 60613
As a Class Member of the North Community Bank ATM class action settlement, you can file a claim to receive a pro rata share of the settlement fund, up to a maximum of $1,000, by submitting a completed claim form to the Settlement Administrator no later than October 28, 2011.
