Tractor Supply hammock chair recall overview: 

  • Who: Tractor Supply Company announced a recall for around 7,500 of its Red Shed Hammock Swing Chairs. 
  • Why: The company initiated the recall over concerns a plastic buckle that supports the back of the chair can break. 
  • Where: Tractor Supply sold the recalled Red Shed Hammock Swing Chairs nationwide. 

Tractor Supply initiated a recall for around 7,500 of its Red Shed brand Hammock Swing Chairs over concerns a plastic buckle supporting the back of the chair can break while a consumer is seated, causing a fall hazard. 

The recall involves Red Shed Hammock Swing Chairs with a blue and silver mesh fabric seat with black nylon straps attached to arm rests on a black metal frame. 

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Red Shed Hammock Swing Chairs and contact Tractor Supply to receive a full refund. 

Tractor Supply says it received 13 reports of the buckle on the strap or its stitching breaking, with three reports of an individual falling to the ground as a result. 

Recalled Tractor Supply Red Shed Hammock Swing Chairs sold April-June 2023

Tractor Supply sold the recalled Red Shed Hammock Swing Chairs from April-June 2023 for around $70 at Tractor Supply stores nationwide and on the company’s website.

In another recall involving a chair’s fall hazard, TOMY recalled 83,000 of its Boon and Boon Flair high chairs in the United States and 2,850 in Canada in September over concerns bolts holding the high chair to its pedestal base can become loose

    The ones I bought was no good and I threw them out because I was afraid they would collapse and I be sued by my guests.
