Kawasaki and the mower manufacturers are directly contacting all known purchasers affected by the recall, according to the Kawasaki Motors recall.

The recalled engines were in mowers and lawn and garden equipment sold at Kawasaki, Bad Boy Mowers, BigDog, Bobcat, Cub Cadet, Hustler, John Deere and Kubota dealers nationwide from April 2021 through December 2023 for between $4,000 and $15,500.
