Nutraceutical Corporation is issuing a mouthwash recall for 102,100 of its Heritage Store Hydrogen Peroxide mouthwash products because the ethanol content requires child-resistant packaging.
The Heritage Store recall includes all lots of Hydrogen Peroxide Mouthwash in wintermint and eucalyptus mint flavors. The mouthwash comes in dark opaque brown bottles with a white lid. The pink and white label shows the Heritage Store logo, product name and flavor.
The mouthwash was sold at Whole Foods, Fresh Thyme Farmers Market, Mom’s Organic Market, New Season’s Market and Mother’s Market and Kitchen stores nationwide, and online at Amazon.com, iHerb and HeritageStore.com from October 2010 through December 2023 for about $10.50, the recall says.
Contact Nutraceutical for refund, replacement, recall says
Nutraceutical did not say if it has not received any reports of illness related to the recall so far. The company is not currently facing legal action over the recall, but Top Class Actions follows recalls closely as they sometimes lead to class action lawsuits.
Consumers are asked to store the mouthwash out of reach and sight of children then contact the company for a full refund or replacement, including shipping.
