Olight says the flashlights can inadvertently turn on and overheat while inside of a consumer’s pocket or holster, according to the recall published by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The affected M2R Pro flashlight is approximately 5.37 inches (L) x 1.16 inches (D) and was sold in black, camouflage, gunmetal gray, orange, desert tan, Patriotic Edition, OD green, ocean camouflage, white, purple and antique bronze, according to the recall.
The affected Warrior Mini flashlight is approximately 4.19 inches (L) x 0.91 inches (D) and was sold in desert tan, summer 2 Ti, eternal 2 Cu, winter 2 Ti, camouflage, black, spring 2 Ti and red, the company said.

Refunds for the product will be given either as a store credit or in the form of a free replacement flashlight, according to the recall.
Olight says it has received 127 reports of the flashlights turning on inadvertently and 22 reports of burn injuries, including three reports of second-degree burns, on account of the issue.
The affected flashlights were manufactured in China and sold on Olightstore.com, Amazon.com and at independent stores nationwide between November 2019 to November 2021, according to the recall.
The price of the flashlights ranged from $48 to $120. Olight says it will be reaching out directly to known purchasers of the product.
