Mike Lindell All Machines Class Action Lawsuit Overview:
- Who: MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell announced he is filing a class action lawsuit against “all machines.”
- Why: Lindell’s class action lawsuit is in response to the 2020 presidential election, which he says he believes was rigged against former President Donald Trump.
- Where: Lindell made the announcement to a crowd in Arizona.
MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell has announced that his lawyers plan to file a class action lawsuit against “all machines” in response to the 2020 presidential election results.
Lindell, who believes the election was rigged against former President Donald Trump, made the announcement on Saturday while endorsing Kari Lake, an Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate, HuffPost reports.
Lindell is currently being sued for $1.3 billion by Dominion Voting Systems, which manufactured Smartmatic voting machines used during the 2020 presidential election. Dominion claims Lindell defamed the company by deliberately lying about the election and its voting machines in order to sell more of his MyPillow products.
“After hitting the jackpot with Donald Trump’s endorsement for MyPillow and after a million-dollar bet on Fox News ads had paid out handsome returns, Michael Lindell exploited another chance to boost sales: marketing MyPillow to people who would tune in and attend rallies to hear Lindell tell the ‘Big Lie’ that Dominion had stolen the 2020 election,” the company says in its lawsuit.
Dominion has also filed a $1.6 billion lawsuit against Fox News with the company claiming the station encouraged false claims of election fraud to increase its viewership.
Lindell Later Clarifies He Wants To Remove ‘Voting Machines’
Lindell, meanwhile, told the crowd in Arizona that his goal is to remove machines from elections going forward, HuffPost reports. The MyPillow CEO later clarified that he was talking about voting machines, specifically, The Daily Beast reports.
Lindell has parroted Trump’s beliefs that the 2020 election was rigged following the latter’s loss to now-President Joe Biden.
The defunct theory has been coined the “Big Lie” and played a role in the insurrection attempt on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
In the wake of the insurrection attempt, privacy advocates had concerns about the fact that dating apps such as Bumble and Match Group, the company running Tinder, Hinge, OKCupid, PlentyofFish and Match, among others, were turning content posted on their platforms from the event over to the FBI.
In addition to Lindell, Dominion has also filed defamation lawsuits against Rudy Guiliani and Sidney Powell, two of Trump’s lawyers who worked on cases alleging voter fraud following the election, NPR reports.

Those machine makers have already been implicated here and abroad. The suit is SLAPP all the way and will be abandoned or tossed in the future as they don’t want to be deposed under oath and not be able to take the 5th like in criminal court.
