New Keurig Drinkworks Home Bar pods with premium spirits and natural ingredients for balanced cocktails at home

Drinkworks Reimbursement Program Overview:ย 

  • Who: Drinkworks has announced a reimbursement program for consumers who own its home bar system machines.ย 
  • Why: The reimbursement program comes following Drinkworksโ€™ announcement that it is ceasing its business operations and thus will no longer be able to service or replace the machines.
  • Where: Consumers nationwide can participate in the reimbursement program.

Consumers with Drinkworks machines may be eligible for reimbursement following the companyโ€™s December announcement that it is ceasing its operations.ย 

โ€œThank you for being part of our passionate Drinkworks community,โ€ the company said in its announcement. โ€œOn Dec. 15, 2021, we made the difficult decision to close Drinkworks with sales of Drinkmaker machines ceasing immediately.โ€

Drinkworks, which sold cocktail pods, C02 and accessories, along with home bar system machines, said the reimbursements are being offered since it will no longer be able to replace or service the machines.ย 

Consumers will have until Feb. 28 to file a claim for reimbursement, which can be done online. Reimbursement can not be achieved by bringing the machine back to a retail location, Drinkworks warned.ย 

The only individuals who are automatically excluded from being able to receive reimbursement are those who were gifted the machines through their employment with Drinkworks or through marketing or public relations campaigns, according to the company.

Cocktail Pods Will Remain On Sale Through March 31

Consumers will only be eligible to receive reimbursements on the machines, according to the company, which says sales of its cocktail pods will remain available through March 31 or while supplies last.

Drinkworks says it has voided the warranty on the machines because it is offering reimbursement and will no longer be able to service them. Consumers who were previously given a second machine thanks to a warranty will only be eligible for reimbursement on one machine, the company said.ย 

Consumers will be able to keep their machines if they choose, or they can recycle for free through a prepaid mail back program being conducted by Drinkworks.

Keurig, another company that incorporates drink pods into its product, was the target of a class action lawsuit in 2018 that argued it falsely advertised some of its K-Cup single-serving coffee pods as being recyclable.ย 

The plaintiff in the case, a California woman named Kathleen Smith, argued that Keurig Green Mountain K-Cup pods were too small to be recycled despite labeling stating they could be.ย

    I brought Drinkworks for husband for Christmas he found out it was discontinued brought it through Amazon who posted a little later that it was discontinued. Drinkworks phone numbers and sights are unresponsive so to get refunded, who and where do we go. I also feel that Amazon should be responsible as well because they should have thoroughly checked the manufacturer as well. Please help us get our money refunded for all of the people who shopped and brought this Drinkworks machine. Thank you

      I never received an email notifying me that they were going to discontinue the drink machine. My friend was also never notified. Do we still have recourse against Drinkworks?

    I got this during the pandemic- had problems initially and it was replaced. Second machine worked mostly great, except for the CO2 cartridges leaking sometimes! Went to clean today and it wouldnโ€™t suck up water- so I looked online and found out it has been discontinued- no notice- I have a bunch of pods and a questionable machine/ thanks a lot Keurig.

      This is my second machine first one was replaced by the company and it worked fine until last night. Water spilling out not being sucked up so I thought perhaps I needed to change the co2 cartridge. Started to google to see what the issue may be and that is how I found out. No notice no warning. Are we still eligible for reimbursement? I paid almost 500 bucks for the machine. I have all these pods which were not cheap and a matching that doesnโ€™t work!

    We have a drink works machine and have been looking for the pods. Didnโ€™t understand why they werenโ€™t available online through Fine wine and good spirits. This is ridiculous that we are stuck with this huge machine and no where to buy the pods. We had no notice that they were going to be discontinued.

      I am just finding our that these machines are discontinued as well as any drink pods. We have purchased this for almost $400 and have only been able to use it a couple times since we purchased it before we moved and had it packed ever since for our kitchen renovation! How did we not see anything about this?? What do I do with this useless machine now? Iโ€™m so annoyed I wasted all this money for nothing!!!

        I have a Drinkworks machine that has never been used, due to not being able to find pods available for purchase. Now Iโ€™m reading that the machine and pods have been discontinued. The wrapping/seals have not been broken on parts of the machine, including the canisters.

      Can I buy your pods. I still use my machine. when i found out they where closing up shop I bought extra cleaning materials, plus co2.

    I just found out about this when I cannot find the pods anywhere. I was not notified about this being discontinued and this is a very expensive machine. Now, itโ€™s worthless.
