  • A class action lawsuit alleges diet pill company GOLO mislabels its products, sold nationwide, and falsely advertises the products’ weight-loss and health benefits.
  • The plaintiff claims the GOLO diet pills she purchased online didn’t work as advertised.
  • When she requested a refund, she says, she was required to cover shipping and handling.
  • The class action lawsuit claims the pills are advertised as “the natural solution to insulin resistance.”
  • The company allegedly unlawfully implied the diet pills could mitigate or prevent disease and claimed the pills were “clinically proven.”
  • The class action estimates thousands of customers have been affected by GOLO’s alleged fraudulent behavior.

Post Foods Cereal $15M Class Action Settlement

  • A 2016 Post cereals class action lawsuit has reached a settlement.
  • The class action lawsuit alleged Post labeled its products with claims that made the products seem healthy when they actually contain high added-sugar content.
  • The products covered by the class action settlement include Raisin Bran, Honeycomb, Honey Bunches of Oats, Shredded Wheat, and more.
  • The Class includes U.S. consumers who purchased the products between Aug. 29, 2012, and Nov. 2, 2020.
  • The potential award is an estimated average of $14.28 with no proof of purchase needed.

Redbubble Reaped Millions on Counterfeit Products, New Lawsuit Claims

  • A class action lawsuit alleges “print-on-demand” online marketplace Redbubble makes millions from selling counterfeit merchandise and doesn’t take adequate measures to solve the problem.
  • The plaintiff claims she unwittingly bought counterfeit products of Redbubble, and did not get what she paid for when she ordered clothing from the site in 2020 and 2021.
  • The class action lawsuit asserts Redbubble encouraged counterfeiting and infringement, knowingly retained proceeds from counterfeit products, and unfairly competed with intellectual property owners and licensees of brands such as Chanel and Star Wars.
  • As much as 24% of Redbubble sales are from fake goods, the class action lawsuit estimates.
  • The plaintiff is seeking to represent a nationwide Class of anyone who purchased counterfeit or infringing products through Redbubble.

Real Water Causes Liver Illnesses, Class Action Lawsuits Claim

  • Multiple class action lawsuits allege Real Water sells contaminated water, which has led to serious health complications.
  • At least one nationwide class action lawsuit claims the company’s products have led to cases of liver disease and other illnesses, including among children who drank the water.
  • The plaintiffs experienced complications such as fever, vomiting, abdominal pain, joint pain, jaundice, liver failure, hepatitis, and others.
  • A U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) investigation initiated in March 2021 included a voluntary recall.
  • At least five other lawsuits have been filed in which the plaintiffs claim they or their children were hospitalized after drinking Real Water.
