Consumers can get up to $20 from a Kona Beer class action settlement resolving claims that the Kona Beers are not actually made in Hawaii.
In their complaint, plaintiffs Theodore Broomfield and Simone Zimmer alleged that the company used deceptive representations to portray the Kona Beers as being made in Hawaii when they were allegedly brewed in New Hampshire, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington state facilities.
In May 2019, Craft Brew Alliance, Inc. agreed to settle these claims.
Under the settlement, class members can recover up to $10 per household if they do not provide proof of purchase and up to $20 per household if they do provide proof of purchase. Proof of purchase may include receipts, a copy of the UPC from the Kona Beer package(s), a copy of the purchase on a credit card statement, and other valid documentation.
In order to receive payment from the Kona Beer class action settlement, Class Members need to submit a valid claim by Oct. 7, 2019. The deadline for exclusion and objection is also Oct. 7, 2019. The final approval hearing for the Kona Beer class action settlement is scheduled for Dec. 19, 2019.

Liz where did you get the Sept 3 update from.
The update says:

If you submitted a timely and valid claim elected for direct deposit or eCheck, an email was sent to the email address on file with instructions on how to obtain your settlement payment. The deadline to redeem your Settlement payment is March 7, 2021.
People said they received electronic payments on Sept 10, 2020 so why are the paper checks not received.

Give it some time.
Nobody received paper checks. Class admin is cheating.
Has any one received paper checks for Kona Beer and Lipozene. The Class administrators are cheating consumers by not sending them paper checks. People got electronic checks long time ago.
I signed up to received my settlement via paper check.
I have not received it in the mail yet.
I did the same and have not received anything.
I received a link to download a printable e-check from the settlement administrator. Has anyone had luck depositing this at the bank or by mobile banking?
This check looks really fake.
I did direct deposit for mine and it still hasn’t been deposited into my bank account. I emailed for a replacement check. This seems fake.
I also selected direct deposit option but still do not see the payment on my account. I emailed them twice but didn’t hear back anything yet.
