Register.com agreed to pay $1.5 million to resolve claims it violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by contacting consumers with robocalls.
The Register.com settlement benefits individuals who received a call from Register.com that used an artificial or prerecorded voice between Feb. 12, 2021, and Nov. 24, 2025, after the number was permanently disconnected and made available for reassignment.
Register.com is a domain registration and web hosting company that offers services to businesses and individuals. According to the company’s website, Register.com has registered more than 2 million domains.
According to a class action lawsuit, Register.com contacted consumers with robocalls even after their phone numbers were disconnected and made available for reassignment. The plaintiff in the case says these calls violated the TCPA, which prohibits telemarketers from contacting consumers with robocalls unless they have given their prior express consent.
Register.com has not admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $1.5 million class action settlement to resolve the allegations.
Under the terms of the Register.com class action settlement, class members can receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. Exact payments will vary depending on the number of participating class members, but each class member is estimated to receive more than $3,300 per affected phone number.
The deadline for exclusion and objection is June 15, 2026.
The final approval hearing for the Register.com settlement is scheduled for July 7, 2026.
To receive settlement benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form by June 15, 2026.

Please add me
I’m sick of the robo calls can you please send me a claim number
Can you send me a claim number so I can file, I keep getting calls from aggravated bot calls
Please see i would like to participate in this lawsuit as iam eligible . May i be contacted with my claim id number .
Im interested just not quite sure what I’m doing
I have received thousands of robo calls in that time period and others I’m pretty sure I could verify it also can you please email me my claim Id number thank you and God bless you
I recieve a ton of spam and robo call messages. Register.com’s outbound call centers utilize Voice over IP (VoIP) trunk lines. Their system automatically selects a phone number matching your local area code to display on your Caller ID, increasing the chances you will answer. This makes it hard to backtrack and find the specific numbers they are calling from, and it may not even say who it is on the call info. I called register.com to attempt to verify that they had left me robomessages, but after asking to speak with a supervisor about if they had called my number, they hung up on me. I am sure I got a number of robocalls from them.
Would it be possible for you to give me a claim number asap, because the filing date is Monday.
Thanks!

Lawsuit’s like this make it hard for people to receive what’s owed to them.
My phone and my boyfriend’s phone have been bombarded by robocalls. We tell them to add us to the DNC list and then they call back from different area codes.
I have blocked over 5000 numbers in my phone over the past two years or so. My phone is constantly ringing, or dinging because of spam messages and robo calls. My phone has to always remain on silent because of this. I don’t answer any calls unless I have the number stored in my contacts. Everyyyyyy…single day, I have to go through my phone deleting long voicemails and text messages because of the storage space they continuously take up in my phone.
