Good morning everyone! I hope you had another incredible week!
I had a great call with a Settlement Administrator today. This Administrator handles a large number of the settlements you see in our Open Settlements page. I asked the question I ask every Settlement Administrator, which is, ‘How can we get you to include us in MORE of the settlements you administer?’ The short answer was ‘give us more options!’ So, now I’m working through that with my team. I thought we were really flexible on what we offered, but, if the client wants us to break down the options, we will! It just goes to show you, you have to continuously ask your clients what they need. You may very well not get the same answer. The answer I received today wasn’t what I was told a few months ago. Sometimes it just takes some time for them, and us, to figure out what’s needed!
On the home front, I’m about to head out for a recital that my girls’ summer camp is putting on. Sydney is really excited because she gets to sing a short solo! Fingers crossed it goes well, and she gets it out for all to hear! Aubrey didn’t get a solo this time, but there’s always next year! I seem to recall summer camp as something ‘OK’ but not great. The girls LOVE it! That’s really nice! No grumbling about going to camp. In fact, they get on MY case to leave on time. ‘Daddy! We can’t be late! We need to hurry up!’ That gets me out the door every morning!
On a side note, as many of you know, I’m a fan of a number of martial arts. I’ve been through a bit of training for Karate, Jujitsu, Krav Maga, and some others over the years. My latest passion is Muay Thai. HOLY MOLY it’s TOUGH! Right now my bruises have bruises. I know, I know, I’m just throwing punches, elbows, knees, and kicks to my trainer holding the pads, but man it still SMARTS! Bruises are badges of honor, right? And most importantly they’re covered by a suit for meetings and interviews LOL!
