Courtney Jorstad of TCA

Good morning, Everyone!

I really can’t complain a lot about the weather here in Southern California, but after weeks of much needed rain, it was nice to get out and enjoy some sunshine and warmer temperatures than what we’ve been getting lately. On Saturday, we decided to drive to La Jolla, which is just north of San Diego. This beach city seriously needs to be on everyone’s bucket list! Beaches are always beautiful, but in La Jolla not only do you get a beautiful sandy beach, but you also get cliffs, rocks, tide pools, and gorgeous wildlife, including seals—that literally sunbathe right on the beach and rocks. We’ve already decided we want to go back in the summer for some snorkeling and kayaking.

Mountain View

We added two new investigations last week that everyone needs to check out. The first one is for those who were affected by the recent universal life insurance rate increase. Some people saw their premiums double from these rate hikes. If you or a loved one was affected by this, make sure they see this investigation. The second investigation is targeting a practice known as ‘protein spiking.’ This is when supplement manufacturers add other ingredients such as amino acids to protein powders so that they register higher in protein than what they actually contain. If you purchased protein powders made by Core Formulations, Rogue Nutrition, or BioHealth Nutrition, you may qualify to join this investigation.

Also, if you haven’t done so already, make sure you submit a claim for the milk product price-fixing settlement. Today is the LAST DAY to submit a claim, so don’t miss out on this one, if you are in one of the 15 states or District of Columbia this settlement applies to.

That’s all for now! Enjoy the last day of January! Make it a GREAT week!

Warm Regards,

Courtney Jorstad
