Crabtree & Evelyn Ltd. has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit over allegations it illegally collected personal identification information from customers when they purchased merchandise with a credit card at its California retail stores. If you were asked to provide information including your physical address, email address, ZIP code and/or telephone number between May 24, 2012 and July 22, 2014 at any California Crabtree & Evelyn retail store, you may be entitled to receive a merchandise certificate.
The Crabtree & Evelyn class action lawsuit alleges that retail locations operated by Crabtree & Evelyn in California requested and recorded personal identification information from customers who paid for merchandise using a credit card, and that this practice violated California law.
Crabtree & Evelyn denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to settle the class action lawsuit to avoid the expense, inconvenience and risk of ongoing litigation.
Class Members who wish to exclude themselves from or object to the Crabtree & Evelyn class action settlement must do so no later than Oct. 24, 2014.
Who’s Eligible
You are a Class Member of the Crabtree & Evelyn settlement if you were asked to provide and did provide personal identification information, including your physical address, email address, ZIP code and/or telephone number between May 24, 2012 and July 22, 2014 at any Crabtree & Evelyn retail store located within the state of California.
Potential Award
Crabtree & Evelyn has agreed to provide a merchandise certificate worth 20 percent off of one merchandise purchase of up to $50. The merchandise certificates shall be redeemable at Crabtree & Evelyn stores that are physically located in California.

Claim Form Deadline
N/A. You do not have to file a claim for the Crabtree & Evelyn class action settlement. If you qualify, the merchandise certificate will be emailed directly to you at the email address on record with Crabtree & Evelyn once the settlement is approved.
